District Releases 2025 Open House Schedule

Greensboro, N.C. – Guilford County Schools is eagerly awaiting the arrival of our students. On August 19, 20 and 21, teachers, staff and administrators will meet with families and provide important updates for the new school year at open houses. 

 The schedule is as follows:   

 Tuesday, August 19 – High school open houses  

• Wednesday, August 20 – Middle school open houses  

• Thursday, August 21 – Elementary school open houses  

Schools on non-traditional calendars will return to the classroom on Tuesday, August 5 and Wednesday, August 6.    

The first day of school for those on the traditional calendar is Monday, August 25.  

Families are encouraged to ensure their contact information and transportation preferences are current. Transportation requests can be made at www.gcsnc.com/transportation.
